As a youth worker, I agree with the GCYM Statement of Faith, and wish to participate in the movement to train youth leaders to become a Great Commission youth worker, in order to be trained to reach and disciple youth, and/or be trained to equip other youth leaders.  A Great Commission Youth Leader is one who in their daily ministry and personal lives balances the Great Commandment (Matt. 22:37-39), and the Great Commission (Matt. 28:18-20) and applies these principles in a local church (Eph. 4:11-13) toward the goal of discipling youth to become Spiritually Mature [Converted, Churched, Craving God’s Word, Compassion for the Lost, Consecrated].
